Leonard A. Petruska, CPA, MST – President
Len joined the firm in 2003 and became managing partner in 2009. He possesses experience in both private industry and public accounting. Prior to joining the firm, Len was an Audit Supervisor at Syner, Cavallaro & Co., a local CPA firm in Cranston, Rhode Island. In 20 plus years with the firm, Len has been responsible for all aspects of the client’s engagement – accounting, tax, and business consulting. He prides himself in the relationships he fosters with his clients and the trust he earns as their business partner.
Len has extensive experience in real estate, manufacturing, non-profit organizations, and professional service organizations. Prior to his public accounting career, Len was Assistant Controller for an e-commerce company in Massachusetts and Accounting Manager for a computer software company in Rhode Island. Len is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) as well as the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants (RISCPA). He currently serves on the finance committee at East Greenwich Yacht Club.
Len’s qualifications include a Masters degree in Taxation (MST) from Bryant University and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island. When he is not managing the daily activities of the Firm he enjoys time with his wife and dog Mylo in the White Mountains of New Hampshire or sailing Narragansett Bay.
Heather F. Walsh, CPA, MBA – Principal
Heather has over twenty years of public accounting and tax experience with Ledoux, Petruska & Co. Inc. becoming Principal in 2022. At the firm, her experience includes audit engagements of mostly manufacturing companies and non-profit organizations, as well as business and individual tax planning and preparation. Prior to joining the firm, Heather was a senior auditor for Batchelor, Frechette, McCrory & Michael CPA’s.
Heather is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) as well as the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. Heather received her undergraduate degree from Westfield State University in Business Management with a concentration in Accounting and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Bryant University. Heather enjoys traveling with her family and spending time on the beaches in Maine
